How to cut your baby's nails safely:

Gently pull the finger pad from the nail to avoid nipping the baby’s skin. Hold the baby’s hand firmly as you cut. Follow the curve of the fingernail. Trim toenails straight across. Take care not to cut the nail too short.

Does your child become distressed when cutting their nails? Why not distract them with their favourite TV show or a snack.

Clean your baby scissors with hot soapy water and a soft cloth, and dry well.

The baby scissors are for adult use only due to sharp edges and small parts.
